Bought this one via Steam. I remember playing it quite a bit back in the day. I got it for the Playstation years ago, but it wasn't the same. I'm still getting used to having to actually press a button to raise and lower the weapon, but otherwise it's been an enjoyable trip down memory lane. I'd love to see a remake of this game using the graphics we have today.

I loved this game. It was one of the rare FPS that I actually played through.

I played Dark Forces well after it first came out. I got it in a bundle of LA games with Monkey Island 1 & 2, The Dig, Full Throttle, etc. and I certainly didn't buy the bundle for SWF. I'd heard good things about the game, so I gave it a shot and was very impressed. It was a damn good shooter.

There's only a small portion of LucasArts games on Steam so far, but they've been adding new ones gradually.[/QUOTE]
I am looking forward to seeing Afterlife released on Steam. That was one of those Lucas Arts games that had a lot of potential which I was never really able to comprehend back when I was a kid. For those not familiar with it the concept was much like Sim City, except you were in charge of building Heaven and Hell for an alien world. The game seemed very difficult, mostly because you were in charge of building Heaven and Hell at the same time and needed to keep up with the demands of the world in between. If people were becoming evil on the world, you'd need to have enough space in Hell for example. Also, much like Sim City, there were specific zones you needed to plot for (ones for each sin and virtue) as well as power siphons, main gates, stations, and topias (where your angels and devils live). You also were required to plot these zones differently in each final destination. In Hell for instance you needed to make sure the souls had to travel great distances to get to their punishments, while in Heaven they shouldn't have to go far at all.
Some additional fun aspects of the game included influencing the religion of the planet, getting detailed info on the different kinds of rewards/punishments, and disasters including the Death Star and a giant Max (from Sam and Max).

Wow, when they said all of the Jedi Knight games, I had assumed this would have been left out, since it was dropped from the title third game in the series. Guess they weren't fucking around.

The adventure pack is awsome. It's got The Dig, Loom, IJ the fate of atlantis, and the last crusade.

Missed out on Dark Forces as a kid. As the world's biggest smallest Star Wars fan, it's kinda confusing how that's possible.
I did get in on Dark Forces 2 and beyond though.

I didnt like Dark Forces, but Dark Forces 2 (and later, Jedi Knight) are the two best Star Wars games ever, in my book.
Yeah, Xwing was good and KOTOR had a great story, but damn it cant match the stuff ou could do in JK.
