Died sunday after a 7 year battle with cancer.

I watched him every morning as a kid when the late night sportscenter replayed

Man, I hate cancer.

Mr. Z is pretty upset about this. He really adored Stuart Scott. And he's watched this speech many times since it was first aired:

When you go to bed tonight, flip your pillow to the other side for Scott.

I saw that tribute by Eisen... very hard to not start tearing up watching that.

I didn't know he was ill. Wish the best for his family. I haven't watched Sportscenter in years, but I watched nearly everyday during undergrad. He was always a class act.
