What kind of movies do you like?

How about a J. Lo night? Angel Eyes and Out of Sight. They aren't new movies, I know, but that means you get the bonus of a younger George Clooney in the latter movie.

I think the FIRM WAVE ROCK SOLID SOMETHING DVD would probably be the best choice for you.

I don't know which movie that was, but a quick Google suggests it's called the Cell and also stars Vince Vaughan, whoever that is.

My favorite Sandra Bullock movie is While You Were Sleeping. I'd pair that up with How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

Oh don't watch Saw. I'm not a fan at all. I like old school slasher type horror movies. The Friday the 13th remake was pretty boss. I've heard The Strangers is pretty good, and I'm gonna watch Midnight Meat Train too soon-ish.

edit: based on what else you said DONT watch The Hurt Locker

#10

darkangel6988

OMG I LOVE SAW....no one ever wants to watch that with me lol....except my hubs he likes the Saw movies too! The strangers is awesome i was scared shitless lol One movie I thought was sick because of the rape scene in it is Last House on THe Left ewwwww i wanna throw up thinking about it lol !

#11

Charlie Don't Surf

The Lovely Boehner

Yeah, Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes are pretty hard to watch. I like more straight up almost-funny slashers than really disturbing stuff generally.

#12

darkangel6988

Yeah I agree.........Last house on the left was ok i mean kinda boring but that rape scene will burn my mind for a long time.......Especially being a chick and all it was a lil to real like to watch for such a long period. I dont know why anyone would put that in a movie !

How about Clash of the Titans in all its stop-motion glory?

Or Memento, which is one of my favourite movies of all time.

I've been watching a lot of older/classic movies lately:

Annie Hall
Casablanca
12 Angry Men
Chinatown
M
Dial M for Murder
The Maltese Falcon

And some newer movies that I love dearly:

Inglourious Basterds
A Serious Man
Dark City
Royal Tenenbaums

Ooh! Shaun of the Dead! How could we forget that one?

darkangel6988

Well I'm back i stayed at blockbuster for an hour.......I had trouble deciding......I didn't come with saw and I left Paranormal activity there as I"m to scared to watch it alone. So I don't know what I got really and why I picked them They didn't seem to have much of anything named on here. Don't forget I'm in quebec so their english selection is slim.

I got.........

-Friends with Money with Jenn Aniston lol yeah looks kinda stupid but whatever
-The Time Traveler's Wife which I will watch with my friend tomo and I'm sure we will sob
and last but not least.....

Beyond a Reasonable Doubt with Michael Douglas ( hot for and old guy) Jesse Metcalfe (Yummy) and Amber Tamblyn

Was wondering how many females are on this forum? I always feel like I'm one chick in a swimming pool full of men on here lol Anyhow I'll let yall know how it goes. I may tell my hubs to go to his blockbuster in AZ and buy some of the movies mentionned above if he can get them used.

You'd be surprised at the number of females that are here. Yes, we are predominantly male, but as message boards go we are a lot better on the X/Y chromosome ratio.

And I've heard that the Jennifer Anniston movie is bloody as hell!

#23

darkangel6988

When I lived in Montreal, I found a pretty decent store selling used videos. What it was called, and where it is though, I can't remember at all. I'd guess somewhere around Rue St Denis or Ontario, as that's where I hung out most of the time (not because of UQAM, though), although it could've been anywhere downtown or out toward, um . . . oh crap I can't even recall the names of neighbourhoods! . . . the west end of the subway line.

. . .

This has been yet another useless post brought to you by the letters Grue and Beard, and the number jack.

Lol my friend lives in downtown Montreal I will ask her ! Oh St denis i remember that street from my good old party days lol !!!!!!!
Anyway Garbledina I love your Penguin.....he makes my heart melt lol !

500 Days of Summer was great.

A real dark horse choice - My One and Only - it's based on George Hamilton's life, but it's actually quite funny and entertaining.

You gotta be a real comic geek - Comic Book, the Movie - a quirky mockumentary by Mark Hamill - lots of comic book creators and some funny bits with Bruce Campbell

#32

darkangel6988

Hmmm I'll have to try 500 days of summer I saw the box for that I think yesterday....not sure but think i did.
