I watched the Japanese movie Summer Wars on friday night. It has been a very long time since I was last enthralled with such a movie. I plan to keep this short and spoiler free. In short Summer Wars is about a timid high school junior named Kenji Koiso who is a vertiable math prodigy who works part time for the company that controls an online prescence known as OZ. to be short and sweet OZ is a bit like Facebook, Youtube, and other social media site in one large conglomeration. Every major business and government agency has a prescense on the site as well as most of the electronically connect population of the planet. he is approached by a female senior who he has a crush on named Natsuki Shinohara, he is offered a short part-time job to come with her to her great-grandmothers 90th birthday and pretend to be her new fiancee to her large and colorful family. This begins his wild adventures with a family that shows despite what may happen between blood, it will always be thicker than water
