It's coming up this weekend, is anyone else going to watch?

IO9.com has a preview, which says "In fact it really reminded me of a shorter and less in-depth version of the TV movie The 10th Kingdom, which I adored."

Tim Curry, Kathy Bates, Colm Meany and Matt Frewer are pretty appealling, cast-wise.

10th Kingdom was FANTASTIC!

I'll be checking this out when it hits DVD.

If they did as good of a job at scenery and plot twisting (ie, "reimagining") as they did with Tin Man, I might pick it up. The cast certainly looks interesting.

Looks interesting. I set it to record this weekend :)

We did pick up Tin Man (it is really cool for those who haven't seen it yet) and DO pick up 10th Kingdom. It is pure awesome sauce :)

I did not enjoy Tin Man. It reminded me of back in the 90s when everything was XTREEEME versions of older things, only replace extreme with fucked up and with a horribly weird fantasy slang name.

I've never seen 10th kingdom though, but if it's anything like tin man I can't imagine I'd enjoy it all that much.

Oh wow, it's been years since I've heard anyone mention the 10th Kingdom. I may have to watch this now.

I personally like 10th kingdom more than tin man. I suggest try to rent/get a copy of 10th kingdom. It is a mini series (10 eps I think) and it is WELL worth it if you like fairy tales mythos.

I was pleased with Alice...it's not earth-shattering good, but it's fun entertainment.

30 minutes into it, I just stopped it and deleted. The show just did not strike a cord with me.

I got distracted playing Torchlight on my netbook. I think I'm addicted to multitasking. The the bits I paid attention to were good, though. I'm tuning in again tonight.

I thought the second part was better than the first. The first seemed to be full of "See, we're referencing the classic story here!" moments, but the second went in it's own direction and I thought it was pretty decent, overall.

I set to record, but it didn't record the 2nd part :( so we set it to record next showing and hope to catch the 2nd part.

It is not too bad IMO. It is not as good as 10th kingdom or tin man, but it was not bad.
