For the first time since 1990, SU Basketball has taken a number one spot on the AP poll during the regular season, after whooping on Villanova in front of a record breaking crowd for an NCAA basketball game. I know, it really does not matter much on the rankings like with football, but hot damn, it is fucking great to see!

Just an idea of what the crowd is like when they get 30+ at the dome for basketball..these are screens from 33k earlier this year, while Saturday nights game had 36k+

Not sayin' nothin', because WVU did it's usual act of going down by 10-20 points at halftime then come roaring back.

I'm scared to death about the NCAA making us a No. 1 seed. That will practically guarantee that WVU will be the first top seed to lose to a 16 seed.
