I watched this back in college when I was on a kick where I wanted to watch all the famous movies that were released before I was born.

I totally understand why this is still an iconic movie, but I don't think I could ever watch it again.

I feel the same way about Schindler's List. Absolutely astonishing movie, but not something I'd want to watch again.

Travis Bickle is basically Rorschach from Watchmen.

Ok, the comparison falls apart if you really examine it, but I still think it fits
