Especially since it's played as a twist for the first 20 minutes or so of the movie.

One of, if not arguably, the best action movies ever made. Still holds up.

Yes. If only they'd ever made a third one.

I would say it's either this one or Aliens takes the cake as the best action movie ever made.

And they tied up the story very well. At the end of it all, it was a nice little, Sci-Fi bow. And it ruled out sequels, so I do not recognize the other stories as being in the same universe.
