I was a little upset earlier today over a random realm restart that took the server down for about half an hour. I mean it happened right when I started playing too! Well, okay I had been playing for four hours. BUT STILL.

And then I found out why:

Squee indeed. The Grenades are at every races starting area right now, once you convince the vendor to Pity the Fool. I love this game.

I cracked up hard at the commercial when I saw it. These, however, will become the new train sets in raids, which will be even more hilarious.

As bad as the Zombie invasion?

I loved the zombie invasion. I was peeved there weren't more people on my server zombieing up and wiping out the capital cities.

I remember back in the day when I was only a newb in Ever Quest. They launched an undead invasion of the starting areas. These mobs were some of the highest lvl in the game at the time. I was still under lvl 12. So I basically could not play for a week.

As long as WoW does not get that stupid, all should be fine.

Too bad the grenades do not last longer. It would have been fun to hold them for a few months.

I'm not so sure they're going away immediately. I think they might be up for the 5 year celebration although I admittedly hadn't heard anything about this til they actually launched.

Now EQ, that's a different story. Dying in WoW is so watered down that it's merely a minor inconvenience. Dying in EQ, however equaled at least a few hours worth of XP. Then having to schlub around and find your corpse.

For me, the only advantage of the corpse finding part of EQ was that I was a necromancer and made mad platnum on recalling corpses.

Yeah, I made good money once I got my Cleric's epic weapon. No cost for me to rez people but I'd get a couple plat tip anytime I did it for others.

I had to buy coffins for mine. So, I never did them for free. I'd do them for just the price of the coffin, though.

Yes, I know it's been done better (Slappy and Skippy did it wonderfully) but I still can't stop laughing.

EDIT: Okay, I had to add the Slappy the Squirrel version
