To elaborate, he was a bar and two guys decided to rob him, they drove to a rural area and rater than just rob him and leave him alone, or maybe just kill him in a less painfull way, he was beaten to near death and put hanging on a fence, left to die in the cold and dark night, he was found by a biker passing by, he stayed in a coma for about a week I think.
