Sorry, not gonna click. Not today.

Had to put down one of my cats this afternoon. She had fallen off the back of my office chair 2 weeks ago and broken her leg. She was supposed to have stitches taken out today, but the subject of how poorly she had been walking since her surgery had come up. She wasn't healing well. New x-rays confirmed that the surgery had not really taken, and there really wasn't anything more they could do for her.

She was 21. :waah:

If you are an animal lover the beginning of this might be hard to watch but it's an amazing video. It occurred in Chile where a stray dog was crossing a busy interstate and was hit by a vehicle. As it lay in the road another stray dog recognized it was in trouble and used it's front legs to pull the dog off the busy interstate. If anyone doubted the intelligence of animals.

I'm not so sure. It's really a lot sweeter and softer and stuff than regular bread. I can't really imagine it being very good for, say, a cheese sandwich :-P

...addendum, apparently you can also make it with slightly soured milk to make not-so-sweet bread with a more regular taste but just the fluffy texture. Seems odd, but whaddayaknow, the internet continues to amaze me.

Jim Cummings' Top 10 Noteworthy Roles - Marz-something

I thought I was pretty familiar with the awesome Jim Cummings' work, having recognized his voice in a bazillion things, but I was surprised about the Lion King song connection. Listening to it now, I can totally hear it. I also didn't know he sang in Pocahontas. It's amazing how many things the man's been in. He was practically in every cartoon in the 80's. Taking a look at his IMDB page makes me want to shit.

Unfortunately the video, as nice a monument to a cool voice actor as it was, was rather dully-presented, to say the least. I mean, kudos to the research, but even at the Critic and the Chick's least funny moments, at least they're usually trying. I mean the point of most of the videos on thatguywiththeglasses.com is to amuse and entertain, right?

And who says 'dangit'?

I had another thread where I introduced this guy, but I highly recommend thru-you. This guy does something similar to the above, except rather than doing all the tracks himself, he gets music from strangers on youtube and mixes it together. This is my favorite:
