I still think it's a buggy mess with a terrible navigation system and that the incredibly large size of the game is just a bunch of procedurally generated garbage that makes no sense and the dungeons are way too fuckhuge, but I thought this might interest some people.
Oooh! I used to play the heck out of that one. It's like one of the first 5 games I got for PC.

Once it was patched up it was a decent game. But in its first few versions it was buggy as hell. But being able to zoom in to any part of any country, drill down to the town and even the houses was pretty amazing for the time. Granted, all the people/places look a lot alike barring small variations, but it was still a large, sprawling game that you could play forever.
I never did finish it because I kept going off on side quests.

Could be good, I just want to conquer dungeons and hoard treasure.
It was the first video game I remember with boobs (some of the temples had topless women "worshiping" in them). It blew my teenage mind.

Oh thank the gods.
I've been trying to purchase a copy of this game for ages, but nobody ever has one for sale (or if they do, they want $45 or something for it). And now I get it for free? Awesome! I'm gonna go and download that right now.

fun game, I´ve spent quite some time with Daggerfall a decade ago. Shipload of bugs, tough. And the level of difficulty was very unbalanced. Still the game where I suffered the most OHKs
