THIS FRIDAY! It's going to be like getting a steroid shot after drinking twenty Red Bulls while sky diving naked into a pool of liquid testosterone.

Sylvester Stallone, Jason Staham, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ryan Couture...it's like a who's who of action movie goons of the last 30 years.

And yet Piotyr, I'll still go see it. It looks like a good throwback to the 80's action movie. I wish they would stop using Arnie and Bruce to sell this film. Just imagine how cool it would have been to see their cameos unannounced.

Oh, I'm not knocking the film, I think it's amazing they got all of them together. I just wish they could have landed Van Damme and Seagal, too.

and get caught supporting a mere action movie?

I will be seeing this as soon as I can, which unfortunately not this weekend. Still I have a penis so I will be seeing this movie. #MFIM

On Saturday I'm heading to a party with some of the fellas where we will drink scotch and smoke cigars. Then we will head to a late showing of the Expendables. Then we are going to the stripper's.

testosterone injections for everyone!

Q: if you were employed would you pay for 4 movies in a row?

I think they did try to get these two on board... but Van damme didn't want to be in it because he felt his character had no substance and Seagal has had negative experiences with the producer (according to wikipedia anyways).

They also tried to get Kurt Russell and Terry Crews' character was originally written for Wesley Snipes.

Honestly, don't get down about the reviews. I expect it to not get good reviews. Why?

Because this is like the big kahuna of big, dumb action flicks with lots of shit blowing up and a high body count. I'm going into this expecting that and nothing else. In fact, if it has ANY semblance of plot or character development, I'll be disappointed.

I have a feeling I'll be walking out of this saying the same thing I did about 300: "I feel so manly right now, I think I need a shot of estrogen."

Also, Seagal probably wanted to just keep making his shitty monthly straight-to-video movies so he can further pay off the mob. :p

Actually the main negative of the reviews has been that there is very little of anyone who isn't Stahem or Stallone in the film. Which is a real shame.

I liked it better that Scott pilgrim. no lie. both fantastic, but this one....just reached down and grabbed the kid inside me that grew up on this stuff.

I...didn't like it at all. The action, for what little there was a lot of times, was pretty good, but so much of it was goddamn generic. There was very few, if any good one-liners and just...yeah.

Basically, on a scale of 1 to 10 on the action movie scale (ten being Terminator 2/Aliens, one being Transformers 2), I would be generous to give it a 4.

Let's put it this way: the only reason I didn't walk out was because I paid for it.

I was going more with your assessment, than anything. Persoanlly, I cannot stand Spoony, and detest his reviews.
