Yeah, including tonight's episode. I was wondering where the plotting was going to take us; I was pleasantly surprised at how completely jarring the JFK assassination became as a plot device. I couldn't believe at how they could relay the sheer devastation of the events as they unfolded.
I think it's amazing, too, that they could make a tight script that holds many thematic elements together using the JFK assassination and still make his assassination feel alien, foreign, and frightening, instead of a thematic plot device. We get so wrapped up on the internal struggles of these characters--especially compared to last week's episode--that we were completely blindsided.
One thing that confused me--I'm foggy on the details apparently--is why Sterling's daughter seems so young, naive and petulant. I don't remember her being like that at all, what did I miss?
Already stoked for the season cap. And pissed that it's going to be months before I can get my sweet fix of the best fucking show on television.
