Gorram it, it seems I let the other thread alone for too long and it died with all the other abandoned threads. Either that or the forum's search functions sucks... or my skills at searching suck, I guess.

A friend showed me this, a link in the Rock Band forums that announced 15 more songs to be in the game. They are as follow, with the venues for each one:

• Twist And Shout / Cavern Club
• Do You Want To Know A Secret / Cavern Club
• Can't Buy Me Love / Ed Sullivan Theater
• I Wanna Be Your Man / Ed Sullivan Theater
• Eight Days A Week / Shea Stadium
• Paperback Writer / Budokan
• And Your Bird Can Sing / Budokan
• Yellow Submarine / Abbey Road Dreamscape
• Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band* / Abbey Road Dreamscape
• With a Little Help from My Friends* / Abbey Road Dreamscape
• Within You Without You / Tomorrow Never Knows / Abbey Road Dreamscape
• Revolution / Abbey Road Dreamscape
• Birthday / Abbey Road Dreamscape
• Dig A Pony / Rooftop Concert
• I've Got A Feeling / Rooftop Concert

(I don't know what the asterisks mean... it doesn't seem to say in the post)

Revolution! :D :D
Paperback Writer! :D :D :D
Sgt Fracking Pepper's!! :aaahhh:

So, with the other announced ones we now know 25 of the 45 in-disc songs. Man, I can't fucking wait.

I know from my end that it's going to be difficult to get people to A) be interested in playing (Excluding one or two of my friends, I'm betting they're really not going to care for the music much), and B) getting those few that I do know to be anything more than useless at the singing/harmonizing for the game.

Other than that, I'm genuinely interested in checking this game out. I've heard some Beatles stuff and enjoy what I've heard, but I've never really sat down and listened to much of it. This would be an interesting way to start.

44 out of the 45 in-game songs have been revealed:

* I Saw Her Standing There
* Boys
* Do You Want To Know A Secret
* Twist And Shout
* I Wanna Be Your Man
* I Want to Hold Your Hand
* A Hard Day’s Night
* Can’t Buy Me Love
* I Feel Fine
* Eight Days A Week
* Ticket To Ride
* Day Tripper
* Drive My Car
* I’m Looking Through You
* If I Needed Someone
* Paperback Writer
* Taxman
* Yellow Submarine
* And Your Bird Can Sing
* Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
* With a Little Help from My Friends
* Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
* Getting Better
* Good Morning Good Morning
* I Am The Walrus
* Hello Goodbye
* Revolution
* Back In The U.S.S.R.
* Dear Prudence
* While My Guitar Gently Weeps
* Birthday
* Helter Skelter
* Hey Bulldog
* Don’t Let Me Down
* Come Together
* Something
* Octopus’s Garden
* I Want You (She’s So Heavy)
* Here Comes The Sun
* Dig A Pony
* I Me Mine
* I’ve Got A Feeling
* Get Back
* Within You Without You / Tomorrow Never Knows

I feel nothing but love for this setlist.

yes, it's a whole separate game, all songs come with three vocal "tracks" for the harmonizing, that's info a regular Rock Band game wouldn't be able to decipher.

Plus, you know, they want more of your money.

Did they show the leaked advertisements on a joystiq-like blog or did gamestop just didn't care Harmonix was waiting before revealing it?

I already have Rock Band and I don't like the Beatles enough to go out & buy this. Had they made it compatible I'd have thought about it. But they really lost out on this one, I think. I have a feeling it won't do nearly as well as they think.

I don't think they quite expect Rock Band-sized numbers in sales, BUT they do expect those who buy it (who WILL be a big number, make no mistake) will tend to buy much more of the DLC content. Cause if you're a Beatles fan and you have the game you won't be able to NOT buy Abbey Road.

Bastards.

I love them.

Only the Beatles get their own, individual game, other lesser bands get DL packs, or Guitar Hero semi-expansions :smug:

I do believe you will still be able to buy the game without the instruments. At least that is what my friend is counting on.

Yeah, they're gonna be selling the disc only too, and you can use your normal guitar controllers with it.

Why you wouldn't want the plastic version of THIS beauty is beyond me, though:

just saw this: http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthre ... ost2900612

The coolest part:

In addition, purchasers of the full album download of Abbey Road will have the option to play the famous 16-minute B-side medley as a single continuous track. The medley includes “You Never Give Me Your Money,” “Sun King,” “Mean Mr. Mustard,” “Polythene Pam,” “She Came In Through The Bathroom Window,” “Golden Slumbers,” “Carry That Weight” and “The End.\"
:aaahhh: :aaahhh: :heart: :clap: :aaahhh: :hump: :Leyla:
