Is anyone else watching this? What an incredible miniseries. I love how Ian McKellon can go from being a Nazi war criminal to the most awesome yet kindly wizard in any story ever told to the creepiest psychological manipulator I have ever seen.

sir ian sir ian sir ian wizard YOU SHALL NOT PASS sir ian sir ian sir ian

my only regret about this show is that there are only 2 more episodes. I hope they actually explain what is happening though, this show seems like a good version of Lost, but if they leave me hanging too much, well that's just a fist in the ass. And I didn't pay for that.....this time.

God DAMN this is some compelling tellevision. Its simultaneously more and yet less oblique than the original. At this point I have some idea of whats going on, but the why's and how's are so far out there. In the original it was much clearer, in a way, as it was a psuedo sequel to the danger man series. This one is completely stand alone.

I do have to say, however, that if it wasn't for sir ian it probably wouldn't be as good. But damn is he amazing.

Edit: Ok, its over. Made me shiver and cry. What a pussy.
