I can be pretty superstitious at time (especially with Chinese superstition) but lately I have been thinking of the rule of 3. (Deaths) generally we talk about how stars died in a group of 3.

This year all in the span of 2 months.
I lost my close Aunt age 60 (car accident)
I lost my co-worker whom I work for years 63 (heart attack in his sleep)
I lost my friend (28 this week died due to surgery complication)

My wife said I can be pretty strong mentally (another word for stubborn) but having people close to me dying. I just need to share with someone cause there are time I just want to break down and hide from the world and cry my brains out (which doesn't seem to help)

Thanks for reading.

While Sadly I know I can't really do anything for you other than a simple e-hug and wishing you my condolences but I hope it helps

It is easy to try and see pattern where there is none. It is just your brain trying to make sense and cope with tragedy. Just don't let your grief effect your personal relationships. Give your wife an extra hug when you are feeling blue.

Thanks everyone :) Y'all better not die on me anytime soon (give me at least 30-50 years ;) )

It is strange. I talk with my parents about it but they get all religious about it. I do get some comfort from the internet where I haven't met any of you (save a couple like Mangler and Cajungal) in person.

I know how you feel. 4 of my relatives have died since the new year, and it kind of freaked me out and made me wonder what was going to happen next. But it's just a part of life no matter when it happens. I wish you comfort and peace. :)
