[Question] The United States of Halforums (Presidential Election?)

All right, I have to ask:

I vaguely remember back in '07 on That Other Now Extinguished Forum that there was a mock Presidential Election held. I also vaguely remember participating in said election, but withdrew my bid when I realized I had nowhere near the time & energy to properly "play" said "game."

That being said, I do believe that President Amy and Vice President Sera have reached the final year of their term - and there should be some sort of election process going on here.

Now, I understand that this was under the old TONE Forum, but still - what exactly have Amy/Sera done for us in this country we call USH?
  • We now resort to a benevolent dictatorship in King Dave-O the Nth to provide us internet access;
  • We have Secretary of Defense Shegokigo in control of the Big Red button;
  • The economy still sucks;
  • GasBandit still runs amok.
So, it is at this time that I am hereby throwing my hat back in the ring, announcing my candidacy for the Presidency of the US of H.

And, if anyone out there wants to make a game of it - well, so be it.

So does this mean that Sera is going to run for the nomination of her party in Amy's stead?

EDIT: Oh, and I'm looking at hiring Krisken to be my campaign manager.

I intend to run a tight, well-organized campaign. I promise to end the threat of sauna pants forever, and loosen the laws involving manslaughter and murder committed by lesbian Latinas. Also, by the end of my third term, I promise that the Grue will be sufficiently fed with steak.

Well the important thing is that you run his campaign and I run the PAC and in no way will we discuss the PAC's completely unrelated attack ads on his opponents.

Or use the money to buy a sweet helicopter. That would totally be an abuse of the system.

Espy, I saw they had it instant watch on Netflix and I've been holding off just because I was afraid of ruining the nostalgia I have for it. Then again, I wasn't disappointed by The Greatest American Hero, so what the hell, right?

And we definitely don't coordinate.

The first two seasons are the best. It gets a little silly in the later episodes (er, sillier) to the point of being hard to watch. But the earlier stuff, totally awesome.

I may have the series box set on DVD that came with the cape. ::looks around sheepishly:: Er, no, I never wore it.
