Aside from the obvious issues with polygamy in general, is this really the 'quality' of programming that The Learning Channel should be focused on?
Ignoring of course Kate Plus 8, Twist of Kate, Sarah Palin's Alaska, Quintuplet Surprise, Cupcake Sisters, Say Yes to the Dress, Little People Big World, 19 and Counting, Dancer with Tiny Legs, Left at the Altar, I Didn't Know I was Pregnant, The Little Couple, Little Chocolatiers, Toddlers and Tiaras, My Monkey Baby, Your Kid Ate What? and One Big Happy Family.
I guess I had a point there, but I lost it in all the dreck.

I think the dreck helped make your point. TLC has gone all, "Jerry! Jerry!"

At least it's somewhat educational about an alternate life style... the others are more like watching a train wreck for the lulz.

The name of the channel is merely a brand identifier. Every channel changes its programming in order to increase viewership, and generally the easiest way to increase viewership is to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
