It's a better movie than I thought it would be.

You should. I got it recently and it's pretty nice.

I also want to get 9 in HD. Unfortunately I need to watch my money the next few months.

9 kind of sucks.

I liked 9. District 9 kicks it's ass, of course.

Only two of those that I haven't seen yet is Hurt Locker and 9. 9 was good, from what I hear. The story was kinda so-so, but the special effects are worth the price of admission.

Invention of Lying had a great concept and horrible execution, in my opinion.

Charlie Don't Surf

The Lovely Boehner

I am hopefully gonna see A Single Man or Crazy Heart in theater this week.

I have good things to say about all of those except Hurt Locker, but that's just because I haven't seen it.

District 9 was my favorite movie of 2009. I envy you for getting to watch it for the first time :(

Hurt Locker is... WOW. Amazing. I still like A Serious Man better but... it's great. 9 is a slick little film, not mind blowing, but cool. Have fun Dave :)

I feel compelled to say that while I really liked District 9, I also felt this eerie deja vu, like I'd seen it before. It was similar among other things to Alien Nation (though understand the movies shared some crew.) It was less deep than I would've liked, and we never learn much about Wikus beyond the superficial disney buddy plot elements.

Let me reiterate. I really liked it.
