Tony Todd, an actor who played the killer in Candyman and its 2021 sequel and appeared in the Final Destination franchise and Platoon among more than 240 film and TV credits spanning 40 years, died November 6 at his home in Los Angeles. He was 69.

To me, he will always be Jake Sisko:

I think the first time I ever saw him was as Gilgamesh.

He was fantastic in "The Visitor", one of the best DS9 episodes if not Star Trek as a whole.

I mean, he's Kurn.

He's Worf's brother.

C'mon!

But I've always liked him.

The Indiana Jones game will be his last appearance in anything.

You're not wrong. It's just that him as the elder Jake Sisko means something to me.

Is it weird that I know him best as the voice of the Vortigaunts in Half-Life 2?

Is it weird that I know him second-best as Captain Darrow in The Rock?

I think he was also one of the contenders to replace Lance Reddick as Zavala in Destiny 2. I wonder if concerns about Tony's health played into that decision at all.
