So, I bought a new record at a concert last night, so I decided to listen to it.
WOW! I forgot how awesome vinyl sounds, and luckily I raided my parents stuff for their best, and got a nice score.
So far I have:
Eagles - Greatest Hits, and On The Border
Led Zeppelin - In Through The Out Door
Beach Boys - Best of
Foreigner - Head Games
Supertramp - Crime of the Century
Pink Floyd - Animals
Bob Marley & The Wailers - Babylon By Bus
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
and finally the new addition, AFI - Crash Love
So, I pose to you, whatchu got? Or, if you have many, what are your favorites?

Boxes and boxes. Can throw it out/sell it as I'm too attatched.
Lots of Soul mostly Motown (Stevie Wonder, Supremes...) or Stax (Issac Hayes, Booker T, Jean Knight...).
Jazz: I have an original copy of the 'Shape of Things to Come' by George Benson its older than I am and about an inch thick .
A ton of Herbie Hancock from Maiden Voyage, through the Headhunters up to Perfect Machine. Including the Blow Up Soundtrack (Groove is in the Heart samples available here) and the Death Wish Soundtrack.
A Whole bunch of Donald Byrd too.
The more modern stuff I have includes some that I've been unable to get downloads for so for: Supernatural Feeling - JTQ and some Drum and Bass remixes of some Courtney Pine Tracks including 'I've Know Rivers' which is a pretty good version of the Gary Bartz original.
I've got Zepplin IV, The Muppet Movie, and The Hobbit Soundtrack. Those are the only ones which survived the hungry Bassett Hound attack of 96.
My Dad however has what seems like just about every vinyl album ever made stored away in the Batcave. :batman:

We were going through some old boxes looking for my old read and listen star wars records for my nephew and I was amazed at how many records my mom has. There must have been a couple hundred in a box, all without covers stacked on top of each other. I may have to pull them out and see how many are any good. They were all old pop and rock records.
Too bad my record player isn't working real well. It slows down and you have to stomp your foot to get it going again. Which causes it to skip, and makes me mad, and probably scratches the record.
I actually only currently own one vinyl record, and I hate that.
David Bowie: Hunky Dory.
For my tastes, it's literally the best album I've ever heard, made all the more chocolatey and delicious being on vinyl. Unfortunately, the only record player I have access to is my best friends collectible phonographs, which does produce kind of an awesome sound.

Bumble the Boy Wonder
Allman Brothers - Eat a Peach
It's the only one that I personally bought.
My parents have about 2 1/2 cases full of old goodies. Stuff like the Eagles, Cheech and Chong, Tom Petty, Zeppelin, Ozzy... I need to find that case..
