If I understand correctly, this has the potential to actually make it through, which would add Brazil to the depressingly growing list of censored countries like Venezuela, Greece, and to a lesser extent Australia. Anyone know anything about this guy or the politic climate regarding the issue there? This could make things pretty rough for some of our gamers =(
Personally, I think censorship has never and will never remedy social issues. In fact, it tends to exacerbate them. Hasn't crime in Venezuela increased since a similar bill was introduced? You'd think the fund needed to enforce this ban would be better spent on an ailing school system or fighting actual crime.
