Okay, so my friend Mark wrote a book called "Things to Do in Denver When You're Undead" and it's doing pretty well. Good read, too! There's a website called the "To Be Read Pile" and they are holding a contest for the November Book of the Month. Mark's book has been nominated and it would do this old guy's heart good for him to win it. He gets nothing for it but the recognition and ability to put the blurb on another book later.

So if he wins, I'll throw everyone's name in a hat who posts here that they voted. The person I pick out will win a copy of the book. Hell, if you want I can get it signed!

Let's put Mark in front of the current leader - "Deceive Her With Desire".

I'm not kidding about that. "Deceive Her With Desire".

Please note that the ads on the top and in a few other places may be mildly NSFW. They don't show anything, but it may be hard to explain why you have an ad for an anthology of man-on-man erotica on your screen...

She's only up 12...

And since her book is the current one being reviewed, it's no wonder that it's leading.

He and I are married. My name is Dave Nihsen Stone.

Let me explain. He and I bought something together in the early 1990's. We each put our names on the warranty. Now my credit reports think he and I are married. I've had jobs ask me why I have an "aka" on my file.

I always suspected.

I'm truly amazed his book is being considered on that site. The demographics for them and Mark's audience I don't think intersect that much.
