But it's an interesting question in an intensely divided and personal issue. So much so that others are still claiming it's a hoax:

In this case the couple has already had several miscarriages, and it was unlikely that they'll have a successful pregnancy with this attempt, so they put it to an internet vote - should they abort the baby, or not?
Crowd sourcing a decision that is so ethically divided turns out to offend a lot of people - to some it's as though the couple was gambling human life.
