Just got a new acer s211hl 21.5" LED monitor this morning after one of the Hyundai lights blew and everything went black (heh, was playing EQ, thought something cast "blindness" on me at first!) ..

So far so good, I like it with the nice big wide screen and OMG 1080P resolution!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!
It's reallly slim

the bad:
1: well, this is more of a ME that's bad.. 1920x1080 resolution hard to read stuff at. Haven't had my eye exam - spent that money on this emergency monitor :p may have to go down to 1680x1050 for reading stuff.
2: I'ma gonna have to color correct it some.. colors are a bit off
3: coulda SWORN the Fry's ad said HDMI and there's no HDMI port on this model.. similar one, not the one I got. >=(

only paid $149.99 for it so I'm overall happy.

You could also make the text bigger. If you're fine at 1680x1050, you won't need to make everything enormously larger to be legible at 1920x1080.

Fixed old monitor, (the Hyundai one.. maybe they should stick to making cars) broke it a little more, in one swoop. Turned out to be a blown capacitor, I had THOUGHT it was a 2nd burnt out bulb so I simply went to replace it.. upon testing, it worked fine. Upon reassembly, it got a small light shadow in top left corner and a small darker shadow on the middle left edge when I put the layers back together. =( Still enjoyable, dvi works, but I did try to be careful.
