Given XKCD and Dr Mcninja, I'd suggest Schlock Mercenary for humor and sarcasm
If you are into Gunnerkig due partially to its art, you might enjoy Worm World Saga which is a different style, but arty
At least three of those comics have long or longer story arcs, so you might also enjoy Freefall and Girl Genius

Finder's Keepers - Amazing art with an intriguing urban fantasy story.

Manly Guys Doing Manly Things - top notch lampooning of macho stereotypes, contrasted with some genuine affection for real masculinity

Spinnerette - superhero comic that's part parody, but mostly is it's own story/world

Drive - sci-fi webcomic that's a great blend of humor and drama
