What is the best version of the Enterprise?

Since I was discussing this with someone IRL & they were clearly wrong I'm putting this here & hoping for a more sensible result. (It's clearly the A)

Clearly it's whichever one has Scotty on board.

...So that'd mean it's either the 1701, 1701-A, 1701-B, or 1701-D.

My brother's friend did the redesign for the last Star Trek, and would have done a new design for the canceled movie. So I have to vote for him.

The D's saucer section is oversized compared to the stardrive section. It would look a lot better if those were a bit closer together in size.

True, I just grew up with it. Like James Bonds or Dr Who's, the one you grew up with is the one you measure all the rest against, I guess.

I mean, if you want something done right you get the D. The looks of the C are pretty dope I think though.

I also like the Kelvin one. Haters to the left don't @ me.

I like the Kelvinverse one enough to vote for it. I like how sleek its lines look.

D would probably be my second choice.

The Kelvin Enterprise is hideous and awful. It's clearly the refit/A. It's hard to come close to.

No other Enterprise got 5 minutes of porn of it like this. This scene gives 7 year old me chills.



I have a major soft spot for The Motion Picture. I can only imagine what this scene was like for fans of the original show who up until this point had only seen the Enterprise in mostly black and white over shitty broadcast rabbit ear network TV.

The Discovery Enterprise is a nice inbetween of the original 1701 and the movie refit A.

As someone who was used to watching the show on a 13“ CRT, let me say... it was impressive.
