WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU CAPCOM?

TELL ME.

Let me explain something to you morons over there in your fancy little office building. When you design a game like Resident Evil, it's clear you go to great lengths to create an immersive world. Good job, it works. It's very immersive, I get sucked in, I love it.

And then, suddenly my character is hurt. Hurt bad. He's got tons of ammo and weapons and he's pinned down. Luckily there is a green herb right there for me to use. But I can't use it can I? No. I don't have a "slot" to carry it in. I can't just pick the damn thing up and use it to heal myself I have to drop my stuff forever to pick up the damn thing. Hell, I'm pretty sure in RE4 I could just "use" things like that. Did you decide it made the game to realistic if I could actually just pick it up and use it? Come on.
Who's bright idea was that? I want their head on a stake.

Are we going to have another lynching?

Look sharp, everyone. Where are those pitchforks again?

RE4 had the same inventory problem. Personally, I think there should be a seperate health slot.

But...if you make more slots and make it easier to pick up more health, some of that horror aspect is gone.

:(

Yeah but I think you could choose to just USE an health item you found on the floor Eljuski. So If I found and herb but had a full inventory I could just use it right then and there.

Actually, no, it didn't. You could use herbs you picked up, even if you didn't have space for them. The game would open up the attache case and show you the item that wouldn't fit. You could then use it then and there.

And yeah, the big ass Attache case in RE4 took all the horror out of the game, as you could always carry a mountain of health, ammo, and weapons wherever you went. It turned it into a straight forward action game, as the entire survival element became moot in a game where enemies dropped health and ammo.

Yeah, I like the smaller cases in this one but I wanna be able to pick herbs up and use them.

Have your partner heal you.

Unless your playing it by yourself.

In which case, why are you playing RE5 by yourself?

That's what I thought too. It figured it was going to be something like "TvC canceled due to lack of interest." Considering we're getting stuff the Japanese version doesn't have, I've hoping the game will rock.

Whew. For a second, I thought this post was going to announce that Dead Rising 2 would be X360 exclusive.

Don't SCARE me like that, damnit.
