I have one (internet) friend who is going for her first time. I have one relative who recently moved to San Diego, SDCC isn't her thing, but I would have asked if I could stay on the floor to be able to attend. I have other relatives visiting until Sunday, otherwise I would try to go, even if flying down for one day. Last time I went was 1994.

'94 was the last time I went. too. Helped that I was stationed in Point Loma at the time and could just bike down Harbor Drive to the Convention Center.

You should have punched the Penny Arcade guys in the FACE.
Not for any particular reason, but simply because they have punchable faces.

I live an hour from SD, but wasn't able to get a ticket in time. Unfortunately it's become such a huge spectacle like E3 moreso than just a convention that it doesn't feel worth the trouble anymore. Maybe in a year or two I'll try to get a pass again, but I miss the con from pre-2010 or so when it wasn't such a huge mess.

Denver Comic Con is growing super fast, I hope to hell it doesn't turn into SDCC... No oftense to SDCC of course.
