I haven't seen anything about it for this year, so I'm sorry if it was in some other thread and I missed it.

So who else is going? I'll be in San Diego all the rest of the week/weekend if anyone wants to meet up at some point.

I won't be there either. T^T
Have fun! I think Gearbox/2K have awesome events going on all weekend, like laser tag!

I wish I knew someone going who would be willing to spend the insane amount of hours it's going to take to get a hold of this:

Full set of the new Planeswalkers in crazy black foiling all drawn by Jae Lee.

UNF UNF UNF.

Man. The first year I finally get a chance to go and so many cool people have been like "Woop looks like this is the one year I'm not going."

Looking at you too, @Kstraub.

I have one (internet) friend who is going for her first time. I have one relative who recently moved to San Diego, SDCC isn't her thing, but I would have asked if I could stay on the floor to be able to attend. I have other relatives visiting until Sunday, otherwise I would try to go, even if flying down for one day. Last time I went was 1994.

'94 was the last time I went. too. Helped that I was stationed in Point Loma at the time and could just bike down Harbor Drive to the Convention Center. :)

You should have punched the Penny Arcade guys in the FACE.

Not for any particular reason, but simply because they have punchable faces.

I live an hour from SD, but wasn't able to get a ticket in time. Unfortunately it's become such a huge spectacle like E3 moreso than just a convention that it doesn't feel worth the trouble anymore. Maybe in a year or two I'll try to get a pass again, but I miss the con from pre-2010 or so when it wasn't such a huge mess.

Denver Comic Con is growing super fast, I hope to hell it doesn't turn into SDCC... No oftense to SDCC of course. :p

I can pretty much guarantee: NO CONVENTION will ever be as bad as SDCC. I have yet to see a con have as much space for chaos as SDCC does.

So, don't you worry. =^^=

DragonCon was smart enough to split it up among a bunch of buildings, and it works masterfully.

The "brofist" is from my husband. I was showing him David's pictures when he saw your comment.

I saw someone actually put together that costume and I was like "You're joking! You're joking!" Needless to say, I couldn't believe my eyes.
