Wildlife!

So the weather is lovely out here in central east coast Florida today, so we had the windows and doors open. As we were sitting on the couch, something whizzed past our heads, smacked into the sliding glass door, and fell onto the couch.

Poor little thing knocked itself silly, but I took it outside and hid it (away from the cats) and checked on it later. It was still there after a half hour, but then it flew away when I approached yay!

Hope you washed your hands thoroughly after taking it outside. Damn birds carry some sort of flu I've heard.

Also: I bet the cats are kicking themselves for missing such a pretty meal.
