I love his gripe about the ending being kind of anti-climactic, with villains getting away, the status quo continues on unchanged, etc, because that's part of why I'm starting to get out of mainstream comics.

It's funny how he seemed to be struggling to SAY negative things about the game and praised it out the yin-yang.

And as for his pointing out how Batman (the character) ISN'T as awesome as everyone believes him to be: THANK YOU! Of course, if he had said the same about Gambit being the most overblown, overrated, 2-dimensional, bad Cajun stereotype, I'd probably hug him.

Man, it's too bad I don't own a game system on which this game actually plays. All I hear is unending praise for the thing.

I'm STILL holding off on buying this game until someone can confirm or deny that it controls well on PC.

Can anyone help me out?

for a FPS gamer, Shego, I'd think you'd understand those of us who find the gamepad wanting compared to mouse/keyboard.

Of course, even then there can be some horrible control issues with any game on any system.

Batman isn't an FPS.
I didn't say it was and I never meant to suggest that, either. It's just an FPS is one of the most obvious types of game where the mouse/keyboard is highly preferred by some players. This extends to other games, too, and in different ways. Racing games, for example, are better with an analog controller instead of a keyboard.

Played the demo several times keyboard and mouse fine, playing regular game for about 45 minutes so far, no problemo.

Although I love Gambit, the accent and dialogue were sometimes just a tad painful for me (in the cartoon--haven't read many comics). It's really hard for someone who's not from here to call people "cher" and have it come off naturally. Unless you're from some tiny little swamp town it's mostly an old person thing. We also don't talk in 3rd person.

Pssst... he was from a tiny little swamp town. :slywink:

Then they should get an actor/voice actor who can do it properly.

Also, he was born in New Orleans, I've read, but where was he raised?

Born there? Yes. But he was raised by the thieves guild that really worked out of the bayou and backwoods areas.
