A
Alucard
Blah blah blah another thread on this game. Yadda yadda yadda.
Just wanted to alert you PC players who are interested in this game to know that the demo is out for the PC on Steam.
The three different species are unique in their on right.
Alien-the wall crawling isn't as disorienting as some people have mentioned. What's incredibly annoying though if you want to
jump between floor and ceiling is pressing the middle mouse button and the spacebar at the same time.
Marine-your one clunky guy. The radar ping is slightly nerving since the beep beep beep of approaching targets. You have
to constantly check your surroundings. Marines here are just more than meatbags in this game.
Predator-they got the species right with this one. Jumping is fine. Switching between vision modes is cool and slightly
annoying at the same time because you can't just stay in one mode through the game.
Trophy kills-Everyone is talking about how easy this is. I would have to say it isn't. So far the only trophy kills I've been
able to pull off is Alien which was sweet and Predator. The Predator is more satisfying when you plunge your blades in
and rip out the head and spine.
The only available mode in the demo was deathmatch so there was no coordination whatsoever. You had to find
and pick up weapons except the ones you start out with.
The system requirements are listed but my PC which is probably a medium ranged one gets decent frame rate.
Overall its a fun taste of whats to expect. I'd recommend checking the demo out if you have Steam. The gore
is a nice touch since they didn't tone it down at all.
