But I did notice that they both started having weird wavy lines appear on them after that shock Agatha gave them. I wonder what that symbolizes?

Those look like bubbles to me.
It's mad science. Bubbles can come out of ones head after a good zapping.

not the bubbles I was referring to the slightly lighter colored wavy lines on their bodies.
