[TV] Talk about the last TV you watched, the catchall thread

After referencing it a couple times, Yoshimickster as convinced me (without trying) to start rewatching Digimon. And Sora just gave Tai the biggest ever all-purpose anime character burn: "It's too bad your brain isn't as big as your hair."

I love the Saban version of Digimon, as silly as it was it had some okay jokes, and while it censored here and there it kept the core plot alive as well as being a staple example of great nineties Saturday morning cartoons.

Saw one of the newer episodes of Family Guy...I was disappointed. It started out good, a classic fight between the Chicken and Peter but the main-plot about Joe cheating on Bonnie for cheating on him went a completely wrong turn. In it Bonnie says she never cheated on Joe...even though in a previous episode made seasons before Bonnie admitted to Lois that she had an affair. Satan Dammit Macfarlane, IS A LITTLE CONTINUITY TOO HARD TO ASK FOR?

You're expecting continuity? You have more intelligence than the target demographic.

Saw a bit of an episode of Barnyard today....why does Otis have an utter? HE'S A DAMN STEER! STEERS DO NOT HAVE UTTERS! Trust me, I was raised on Rocko's modern life so I am an expert on cows. Its bad enough the show sucks and is a waste of Carlos Alazraqui and Rob Paulsen's talents, but it is also innacurate to animal physiology.

I just saw the leaked season 5 two part opener of Adventure Time...holy fucking shit. It answered a few questions- AND OPENED A BILLION MORE! It cray-cray is what it was.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia hasn't had the best season so far, but holy shit did that change with the last episode, The Gang Gets Psychoanalyzed.

20 minutes of magic.

What? I was blown away by the wedding ep! It was... Mcpoyle-riffic!

I saw almost all of the first episode of that "Scan 2 Go" show...dear lord it was dumb! They actually try making RC racer toys look like some intergalactic sport! Right, because I'm sure super intelligent alien societies idea of a competition would be something as idiotically simple as fucking RC racers. And no, they don't do anything cool like shooting lasers or anything. They are just simple RC cars, running on a track. For the love of fuck toy companies, cartoons can only do so much to make your awful products look cool.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This show is amazing with how good it is. The turtles act like kids/teenagers, Splinter like a real father. The art style and animation is just incredible, and the promo stills didn't do it justice. This morning's episode had their first face off with Shredder.

I know and it was AWESOME! That's how the Shredder should always be introduced, just being menacing and kicking a lot of ass!

But still "Booyakasha"?

GRIMM.

AARRRRRRRRGHHHHH... NEXT EPISODE 2013?!!!

(I do have to admit I laughed when "sorry" faded in under "to be continued." But then I found out about the hiatus) Oh and don't click that if you don't want spoilers and aren't current with the episodes

So yeah, now there are mutants on Shredders side! Xever and Bradford are now a karate dog, and a fish man....would've liked if they just brought back Bebop and Rocksteady but hey, how the hell would they just walk into a Warthog and rhino in New York any way?

Last time I bothered to check, there was something like 5 zoos in new york city.

Because that happens all the time. I'm not saying that stealing animals is beneath them, but considering the foot clan are beings of stealth it would be pretty hard carrying a stolen warthog and rhino through the city so for this season at least it looks unlikely.

You're talking about a franchise based upon mutant ninja turtles, and telling me how uncommon escapes from zoos are.

This season has of Dexter has been really back and forth in terms of quality. What really bugs me is...

Most of the major threats, especially the Russian dude, were wrapped up in this episode. And on top of that, they introduced a new serial killer with only three episodes left to the season.

It's really been a disappointing season, despite all the really strong potential behind it. I'm really hoping the subplot with Laguerda (sp?) becomes a major thing by end of the season. Basically, I hope it leads to what I've been expecting from the show for a long time.

I've loved Isaak so far. Ray Stevenson has been blowing it out of the water.

And his fucking death was the most anti-climactic awfulness ever.

Also, I read the episode titles for the next 3 episodes. Season finale title I think gives away the identity of the phantom arsonist....and if it does, what the fucking fuck?

The episode is called, "SURPRISE MOTHER FUCKER!"
