For a few years, I've had a definite itch to create some of those custom vinyl toys, and I'm finally taking the plunge. All those years of reading Juxtapoz wouldn't let that itch fade.
Just ordered this Amazon product

I'm currently immersing myself in the how-tos in regards to supplies and techniques. (I don't want to use any sprays.) so far, there doesn't seem to be much agreement aside from the need to prime first, and thatSharpie paint markers kicking ass, so I'll be picking those up, too.
Games Workshop paints seem to be excellent, too. That's great, as I have tons of those.
I know I have to do a good job on the second one, or Littlesin will never let me hear the end of it.
