That's because there's a lot more mediocrity out there than awesomeness. I mean, we can't all be awesome, that would make all of us mediocre again. Only an infinitesimal part of the population can be awesome. I mean, one, maybe two of your kids. Us normal people can't really compete, statistically.

Ah, I remember that time back in the mid 80s. It was hot, Reagan was trickling down, and I fell in love with Halforums for the first time.
