A Touch of Magic Sequel finally finished

Or, at least I hope it is :) If history is any guide, I'll probably find a half-dozen things to fix within hours of the book going live. :D

The story should be up on Amazon in the next few days (even sooner for the e-book hopefully), and I'll be having a 99 cent sale on the first ebook to commemorate the occasion, starting on the 31st and running through the 7th.

Stripped of magic and forced into exile by his friendship with one of the fae, Randall Miller sets out to make his fortune by trading with the elves and dwarves of Tallia. But the elves turn out to be more dangerous than he bargained for, seeking to rip open the veil between Tallia and Llandra and unleash swarming hordes of unspeakable horrors. Even worse, Berry seems to be on their side!

Determined to stop them, Randall races against time to find the one artifact that can save Tallia, or destroy it.

Not yet. It'll take probably 7-10 days for me to get my paper proof and make sure everything is good.Probably 2 weeks for the paperback to go up.

The ebook should be up by the 31st, in time for the 99 cent sale I have scheduled, but hopefully sooner.

No, not really, I much prefer paperback or hardcover :p ;)
The proof copy is supposed to be in my hand by the 6th. Provided that I don't have any major changes to make, the paperback will be live on Amazon by the 7th or 8th. I'll order a few for autographed copies, which will probably be available around the 15th.

I can wait a couple of weeks :p

Amazon has a new program, Kindle Matchbook.

Basically, the way the program works is this: If you buy a paperback from amazon, you *might* be able to buy the e-book at a discounted rate (depending on if the publisher enrolls the book, and at what rate they choose to sell it at). The program appears to be slated to go live in October.

I’m pleased to announce that you’ll be able to get all of my Llandra series e-books for *free* (once this feature goes live) if you buy the paperback versions from Amazon. People who have already bought the paperback should still be eligible.

I’ve been looking for a good way to do this kind of thing for a while, and Amazon has come through. This is awesome news!

Psst. :)

The proof copy came much earlier than they said it would. I think I went through this same kind of thing last time.
Hey, I was going to say I'd wait 'till it's on amazon.de (since even coming from the same warehouses, it saves me almost as much as the actual cost of the book in shipping fees) , but for once, they've updated at the same time! Excellent!

I bought both your books through Amazon.de.

You know what keeps topping the lists in my mail box every other week or so? "special offers" on "select, high end fantasy and science fiction". Numbers 1 and 3 on that list? Magic Astray and A Touch of Magic, bothat a 10% discount. Darn, if only I'd waited a while, I could've gotten it a whole dolalr cheaper! (with $8 extra shipping, but still!)

I'm hoping you're enjoying the tales! :)

I don't see those sales efforts by Amazon, so I didn't even know they were plugging my books so hard..it's quite flattering actually.

(obligatory self-deprecating image that will probably only be understood by the other old people on the forum)
