So my wife was sweeping leaves and we discovered that Marf has a strange fascination with both the broom and the sweeping....

My doomies are the same way. They'll do something cute, I reach for the camera, and they run away yelling "Damn paparazzi!"

Finally got a good pic of our pet bunny, Panda.

He's next to one of his Christmas presents. You can put treats into the wells and then slide the covers over. A similar one had a description on it saying that it took that bunny a month to figure out. Panda had his worked out in only a few days. :D

A week before my father died I found this 2 month old cat on the street. For the last months I took care of my father through the nights. One morning I went to the store feeling truly like a zombie, just thinking "don't cry." over and over. When I came out of the store she jumped at me from the bushes on the sidewalk and she kind of snapped me out of it. I thought she was cute and moved on. She followed me for 4 or 5 blocks to my father's house. I couldn't let her in so I just thought it was funny she had followed me for so long since cats don't normally do that. I stayed with my dad for another couple of hours until one of my brothers came along, when I came out of the house she was sitting on top of a tree as if she was waiting for me. She came down and still followed me to the bus stop through a park. I didn't think it another moment and just took her with me :)
She's all big, fluffy and crazy now, her name is Comet and she's the cuddliest cat I've ever met :)

I had a cat that did the same kind of thing to me, Morphine. I had hit a rough patch in life and went for a walk near my parents' house to try to clear my head. Suddenly this little cat comes running over to me. She was a calico, mostly grey and orange. She followed me home at my heels like a puppy! I had to keep her. My parents wouldn't let me bring her in their house, so she stayed outside. Every morning she was waiting for me by the door. I named her CC which was short for Crazy Cat. :)

My grandma wouldn't let me have her in either!! I put a box and plates with food and water out for her and she was always waiting for me :D
I moved quickly so now we're at my own apartment and she's a total lazy house cat n_n

My new dog Ada. She's a 3 month old Boxer Lab mix I picked up before Christmas at the SPCA. All these are from the rare moments where she's holding still long enough to take a picture.

I like this one, you can see it on the TV, but she's watching the 2014 World Juniors.

Covar the new pup is adorable! I know what you mean about staying still, have lots of blurred pictures of my mutt. Does yours watch quietly or bark at everything on the TV?

Watches quietly. The weirdest things I've caught her barking at was her make shift food bowl at my parents place (it was a cool whip container that kept moving when she was trying to eat out of it), and her own reflection in a sliding glass door.

She's a hoot. Far more tiring than I thought, but so much fun.

Ralph watches TV, but if any plaintive music comes on he has to "sing" along. I try to get him to stop, but I keep laughing first... so I am sending a mixed signal.

They sure are! Wish I had more time to play with mine. He barks at everything! Direct result of someone's idea to combine two of the barkiest breeds on the planet, German Shepherd and Norwegian Elkhound. Movement on TV, movement in the neighborhood, movement in the state, we know about all of it! But he is lots of fun! How large do you expect yours to get? Barking at her reflection had to be hysterical!

Not sure I ever posted a full picture of mine so here is Caribou on a dock in the Outer Banks and battling it out with a crab (feisty crab but it eventually lost when he decided to just step on the poor little guy).

estimates given to me were 60-70lbs, but when I took her to the vet at 10 weeks she was 15lbs already which I'm told is a lot for her age. I'm figuring 70+ now. She's not fat or particularly big, just lean and well packed I guess.

Yeah...I was given an estimate like that once. Sounds like yours will overachieve as well!

From our snow last week, the boys in the snow.

Silk

Louis

My wife and daughter walked them because I was at work, the were a little worried about them being cold. I don't think that either understands that the boys are wearing fur coats year-round.

Our older Pug has a true double coat, coarse outer layer and softer silkier under layer, he gets very hot once the temps move into the 80s. The younger Pug, in the bottom picture, is the bundle of energy. I worry more about their paws with this stuff, rather than having them bundled up.
