[Food] Coffee?

Do you like coffee? If yes, how often do you drink it? And how do you drink it? I drink coffee on occasions and I put 2 milks, 2 sugars in mine. You?

Love it, and Pretty much every day, usually black but I've been mixing some kefir in it and it perks you up something FIERCE! And on occasions I mix two spoonfuls of brown sugar straight into the grounds. And yes, it is amazing. Very rare occasions though, too much of a good thing and all that.

Never got the taste for it. How I managed to get through my undergrad without java juice, I have no idea.

I do enjoy tea, though.

I do not subscribe to Americanos though. They are just watered down espressos, and shouldn't cost more than a normal fucking espresso shot! And YES- I bought one having believed they mix the water and espresso in a fancy way but NOOOOOOOOOOOOPE- its basically espresso you make from a coffee pot.

Do I like coffee? Like? No no no. I LOVE coffee. I would swim in an olympic-sized pool of it, dive to the bottom and drink my way to the top.
How do I drink it? Any way I can get it. Iced, hot, made in my Keurig, made in a French press at home, Starbucks, or a local shop. I usually drink it at home with a little half & half.

I work at Starbucks so my drinks are free. At this point I just bring an I.V. bag.

Usually I just throw some vanilla syrup into whatever and I'm good to go.

Two cups black every "morning" (I get up at 9pm if it's a work night, it's like 6am to you real 9-5 types). Then a medium double-double on the way home if I've been asked to stop at Tim's on the way home. I'll switch back to a small once roll up the rim is over.

I loathe coffee.

I drink like 10 cups a day.
I don't get this attitude. I also loath coffee...so I don't drink it. To me, acquired tastes make no sense. It's also why I rarely drink alcohol. I don't like the taste and unless it's basically fruit juice I won't drink it. And yes, your super duper concoction DOES have an alcohol taste, your taste buds are just so deadened to the flavor that you don't notice it, like a smoker that can't tell they fucking stink when they come back from outside.

I agree with you on the smoking and alcohol. But there has been a lot of studies that have said a certain amount of coffee (not 10 cups) is very beneficial for long-term health, particularly in women. I'm not saying you need to drink coffee, but compared to similar amounts of alcohol or cigarettes, coffee is a good habit to have.

I can only drink coffee if it's in Starbucks "so much other stuff in it that it's barely coffee anymore" format. I can't stand straight coffee, other than the yummy deceptive smell.

I love coffee, and I'll drink any kind. That last half a cup in the pot that's been cooking for 3 hours at work and now looks like molasses? I'll drink it. Folgers instant coffee? Sure why not. If I have a choice I'll obviously take something better, but I don't care.

At home I'll usually have french press, unless I'm feeling lazy. I used to roast my own beans, but haven't in a while. Might have to pick that up again. At a coffee shop I usually get an Americano. Everything else is too damn expensive.

Caffeine addiction? I know if I don't drink my morning cup I will get a bad headache in the afternoon and if I try and quick cold turkey I would suffer for about a week straight. Fortunately I like the taste of coffee, 2 cups a day is not unhealthy (some say can actually be healthy), and I'm not in a job where I would need the stimulus all day long.

Completely agree on the alcohol taste in drinks. I like it, but I'm fully aware it's always there, even in weak drinks. I find it dumb that people try and claim when it doesn't.

Can we be coffee friends?

Also, Bailey's + Coffee = joy

I dream of getting to a place in life where that happens to me.

I try not to drink coffee frequently because I don't want to become an addict. When I desperately need a pick-me-up though, I'll get a hazlenut macchiato from starbuck.

If I am eating breakfast at 2am, one creamer and half a SweetnLow. Then I drink the whole carafe that IHOP puts on the table.[DOUBLEPOST=1395412320,1395412284][/DOUBLEPOST]I don't drink coffee at the house, I just keep some on hand whenever I have guests.

I keep a couple of those at the house for sodas during the summer, so they don't sweat all over my furniture or me. But I get the flat bottomed ones.

Can someone explain to me what the title of the thread means? I keep trying to read it, but I get all confused because there's a question mark where there should be an exclamation point.

I am the only one in my family who never acquired a taste for coffee. I like the idea of coffee and I even like the smell but I never could get used to the flavor. I much prefer to drink water or tea instead. :)

I don't work regular hours and use stimulants to keep semi-awake/coherent. Coffee is the cheapest.

And surprisingly helps prevent tooth decay (black, of course). Plenty of other studies showing moderate alcohol consumption can be good for you, too...though of course I don't think it's necessarily the alcohol doing the good work.

...and the only legal (unrestricted) one.
