Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. has passed away at the age of 95.

For those who do not know who he is, he was the voice of Alfred in Batman: the Animated Series and the voice of Dr. Octopus from the '90s Spider-Man cartoon.

And he was also a few other things over the years... like 77 Sunset Strip, The FBI, and Hot Shots!

His dad was a pretty accomplished concert violinist.

Oh, and you might know his daughter, Stephanie? Hint: she played the "real" detective behind Pierce Brosnan's Remington Steele.

He also made a memorable appearance in one of my favourite games, Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father.
