Your Disney Superhero Team

On Twitter just now, comic writer Gail Simone was feeling silly and through out a challenge: What if the next Avengers team was assembled from Disney animated characters?

Surprisingly, there's been some really good answers so far. Here's my team:

Team Leader: Goliath, from Gargoyles (or maybe Brooklyn, breaking out on his own)

1) Hercules (the team tank)
2) Stitch (the wild card)
3) Mulan
4) Kim Possible
5) Frozone (I had Elsa before, but Frozone doubles as getting more ethnicity into the group, too)
6) Lewis Robinson, from Meet the Robinsons (always good to have an inventor type on the team)
7) Dash (I could see him rebelling away from his family for awhile)

Trying not to double-up characters from movies.

Sully from Monsters Inc as team tank/monster archetype & possible leader
Violet from The Incredibles as defensive specialist
Elsa from Frozen for ice powers
Eve from Wall-e as tech/communications specialist
Fix-it Felix jr from Wreck It Ralph as healer/repair guy
Genie from Aladdin as magic specialist
Merida from Brave as archery expert & possible leader

No, but you're right, Disney Animation characters of late all have the same face.
It's the same animation group (hence "from the people who brought you Tangled"). But even then, Wreck-It Ralph didn't have this problem. I don't know why they keep using this same face and animated it stiffly in some cases. I'm sure the mom in Big Hero 6 is a minor character and not seen very much, but in that case, surely it couldn't have been that much difference in cost to just animated a different face--I would assume, anyway.
