It's Halloween, so that's cosplay of a dead image. OOOOooooOOOOO!

Dang, got pulled. Well, fortunately I remember what it was, so I can go to the original site and get it again.

Also, really cool armor, and nice to see it looks like actual armor (aka no boob plate)

Ah, but the scales are woven together via rings, as per chainmail, so it's technically both.
Scale (not scalemail, which as just stated, is a hybrid of scale and chainmail) is when the scales are riveted or stitched directly to the backing material (leather, fabric, etc).
However, I will provide: Allegrina, aka The Chainmail Chick.
And to keep in the theme of this thread, here is her superior Darth Talon:

That's cosplaying smarter, not harder.
Yeah, I was gonna say if you can reuse stuff for other costumes YOU REUSE IT.

Especially if it's the entire costume, apparently. Actually, looking at it, I bet the chronology is backwards. Frankenberry has chain suspenders, Krang doesn't.
In summary, great Rule 63 Frankenberry, but kinda lazy Krang. But hey, boobs, amirite?

Which is a good option, but the only thing I can see reused is the chains. Unless she took the pink and dyed it red, those aren't the same shorts and top.
It's likely dyed.
But it's a pretty generic top, and shorts, so she probably could've found them in multiple colors. Like how Old Navy has tank tops in EVERY color. She could've gone that route.
