Well, the guys running the DDOS have to start playing at some point...Amazing how they suddenly stopped, though.

Spain has some real problems with Blizzard.[DOUBLEPOST=1415994092][/DOUBLEPOST]We beat the retrieving character list boss!looking at the Norse real time threat map here:

You can see Blizzard is still get hammered pretty regularly today.
You know, that's an excellent point. Most of the study data I was looking at were about DDoS "in the wild" so to speak. This could well be a different type of animal.Usually you will find two types of DDOS attacks. Those done by people doing a form of protest, and those done by trolls just wanting to watch people bitch and moan. The first group usually last a lot longer since they have a righteous drive for why they do it, while the second group attacks usually happen until the novelty wears off.
WoD release was a perfect time for the second group to just mess the first day experience, as that is usually when the most players concentrate online at once, throwing fuel on the fire of an already hot situation. They enjoy watching the pain, the whining, the chaos, but then move on. I am pretty sure now that we are on the second day much of the attacks will stop.
I wiped on character not found too. It's brutal.I've beaten the queue boss, now I'm wiping on retrieving character list boss.[DOUBLEPOST=1415993871,1415993626][/DOUBLEPOST]

And wiped on the character not found boss!
I rolled a new character on a medium population server earlier today, just to get to play. Then I got disconnected.I've straight given up on my current main, so I'm rolling PvP on a buddy's med pop server. Fuck it.
I'd check for you, but my mistweaver is on Wyrmrest Accord, and ain't nobody got time for that queue.Playing a brand new mistweaver monk, because I can't play any of my other characters, I've discovered that there are a ton of broken tooltips for low level mistweavers. I guess blizzard never bothered playtesting any that weren't already level 100, because the tooltips for their skills say they do things, but they don't actually do the things until much higher level.
Surging mist, for example, claims that it gains a lower cooldown for every chi that you spend. But it doesn't, at all. And doing some digging seems to suggest that this is now an invisible passive skill that can't be viewed in the spellbook, but that you get somewhere around level 50.
The mine is super easy. The docks are a bit trickier.I have my garrison up to level 2, got my character up to 92. My shield attack now hits 5 ,mobs.... BLISS! I'm afraid to tank an instance yet, though.
I think he meant instances. I did tank the molten mines and they were pretty simple.Yeah opening up the mine was simple enough, haven't gotten to the docks/garden yet, though.
Well I'm glad I boosted a 90 Orc Shaman.Man, I know this, you Alliance folk have a WAY lamer garrison. Icy brutal mountains with lava pools all around is so badass.
Also, there's no way Maraad and whoever else follows him around is as cool as Durotan and Draka (especially Draka).
