Capcom is Doing a Thing...With Mega Man!

This is the exact thing that would drive Capcom to make new Mega Man games. Everything Man of Action has worked on has gotten games made based on those properties.

I wanna be excited...but didn't they also do Ultimate Spider-man? TEETERING I AM!
What was wrong with Ultimate Spider-man? It was a lot of fun. Besides, the rest of their successes more than make up for any shortcoming.

Regardless, this is almost surely a move to run against the upcoming Mighty No. 9 cartoon series.

That's exactly what I said to my wife when I read this, and that makes me happy. They're looking at Mighty No. 9 as competition, so perhaps that will get their asses in gear.

Sometimes (always) a cartoon has to push toys. At least Ultimate Spider-Man was fun, Spider-Cycle and all.

That got real obvious with Ben 10. At least with Mega Man, when they throw in 100 different robots to make into toys, they'll already have been introduced to the franchise.

I wouldn't mind if they took inspiration from the comics. Those have been fantastic. I really need to get caught up. Even their crossovers with Sonic have supposedly been really good.

No matter how much we want to forget. Still, not as silly as a stock-footage powered leopard themed robot I guess!
We LITERALLY owe the existence of Super Sentai/Power Rangers to Leopardon. Without the ability to sell scads of toys, it wouldn't be a 40+ year old series.

KLEH, true. Though to this day I swear they accidentally switched the names of its modes pre-production(The Marveller looks suspiciously more like a leopard than Leopardon (and even then it looks more like a lion)).
