I... I kind of actually want to see that. You're not kidding. He looks like he's gearing up to play Leon in a remake of The Professional.

Or Comedy Central isn't willing to toss millions at it like they would the Chappelle Show. But honestly, I could see them doing well in movies...It was a good run. I'm guessing Key wants to focus on movies.
Other than the Daily Show (for like 2 more weeks) or South Park it's their most popular show. It didn't say cancelled in the article, it says the show's ending.Or Comedy Central isn't willing to toss millions at it like they would the Chappelle Show. I meant that it's possible they didn't give Key and Peele enough money for them to want to keep performing the show, not that it's not worth that money and they cancelled it. You need to remember that the ONLY thing that made Dave Chappelle want to do the last season of his show was the literal millions of dollars they threw at him to keep it going (it was their highest rated show). Even that wasn't enough because they refused to let him re-shot some stuff he though would be misinterpreted.Other than the Daily Show (for like 2 more weeks) or South Park it's their most popular show. So the Gambit movie is in jeopardy?Sounds like Channing Tatum might have ditched Gambit.
Outside of Tatum and the people listed in the article almost nothing was known about the movie, kind of early to write it off as junk, eh?So the Gambit movie is in jeopardy?
*shrug* Welp, nothing of value will be lost there.
I am not a fan of Tatum at all. So, I am glad he's potentially out.Outside of Tatum and the people listed in the article almost nothing was known about the movie, kind of early to write it off as junk, eh?
I do like the way he made fun of himself in "This Is The End". That took guts, man.I am not a fan of Tatum at all. So, I am glad he's potentially out.
Not surprised at all.I think we can file this under "never a good sign" -- Fox has embargoed reviews of the Fantastic Four until the day before the movie opens.
What's wrong with Hulu? No! I wanted Netflix. I won't buy Amazon or Hulu. Fuck Hulu.
Pay for our service? Have some ads! Fuck that. What's wrong with Hulu?
I'll admit it is a bit annoying sometimes. At least for me, I'v gotten used to their ads. At least you just have to sit through one or two ads at a time, rather than the huge amounts on normal TV broadcasting.Pay for our service? Have some ads! Fuck that.
Do you really think that it is on purpose or just terrible management at the producer/studio exec. level?I still never understand why companies make bad movies on purpose.
They made the movie out of a contractual obligation. So yes, they made a bad movie on purpose.Do you really think that it is on purpose or just terrible management at the producer/studio exec. level?
I'd personally say it's more of a case of terrible management rather than just setting out to purposefully make terrible movies. They seek out cash grabs, try to enforce their own ego-driven decisions, try to file things down so that they fit into neat squares and cater to lowest common denominator/cheapest to do/safest to do, which in turn results in terrible movies.Do you really think that it is on purpose or just terrible management at the producer/studio exec. level?
The movie industry and the AAA game industry have become little more than megascale versions of app developers.I still never understand why companies make bad movies on purpose.
A lot of that goes to Adam Sandler too, for helping to produce it. It's kind of amazing how busy Adam Sandler is... starring in 22 movies in 20 years AND getting a slew of films produced for his friends like Paul Blart 1+2 and others.http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/ghost-amy-pascal-haunts-sonys-811729
It seems that Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is Sony's highest grossing movie so far this year. At $104 million that's pretty bad.
I really, truly think it's just that he...Sandler goes for quantity over quality.
But on normal broadcasting I can fast forward past them all. On Hulu you can't.I'll admit it is a bit annoying sometimes. At least for me, I'v gotten used to their ads. At least you just have to sit through one or two ads at a time, rather than the huge amounts on normal TV broadcasting.
