[Gaming] Diablo 3 : Ser Farm-A-Lot

My limiting factor now is how quickly I can burn through the rift before hitting the RG and kiting him for ages. That and whether or not I get a rift with stuff that jumps all over my squishy butt.

This is why I don't play a lot of solo Torment: the second I get hit with teleporters or wallers on my Wizard, I'm going to die. I just can't survive it.

BIG changes coming.

Aside from the normal balance changes and tweaks (and there are a lot), Blizzard will be adding a completely new area (Sescheron), increasing the difficulty selections to go all the way up to Torment X, adding benchmarks (a sort of "rate your optimal play level" test), key wardens will just drop already-assembled machines, removing rift keys and trials, Hellfire Amulets will always have a socket, but by far the biggest change will be the addition of a new crafting device, "Kanal's Cube."
The Cube, for all intents and purposes, is like a new artisan. Once it's acquired (by completing a quest in the new Ruins of Sescheron zone), you'll be able to access it in each of the Act hubs. This unlock also works similarly to other artisans — you'll need to unlock it once in each game mode (Hardcore, Normal, Normal Seasonal, Hardcore Seasonal).
---
The primary function of the cube is to serve as a collection system to allow you to accumulate powers from [Legendary] items and then assign the powers you want to use. This has a lot of benefits one of which is hopefully to help free up some of that stash space that players, like me, are using to save cool items "just in case". Now instead of keeping 1 of every cool item in my stash you can simply extract it's power for later use.
Anytime you extract a power from an item it is added to your collection of powers. You can enabled any power you have ever extracted, within each specific game type. To assign powers you will access the cube in town and from there are able to allocate whatever power you like based on the 1 Weapon, 1 Armor, 1 Jewelry rule of the cube.
---
You can only assign powers that you would normally be able to use so no Calamity on Barbs or Flying Dragon on Demon Hunters.
---
Anything that goes in your main or offhand is part of the weapon category for the purposes of the cube.
---
No double dipping, you can only have one instance of a power active. Also the Hellfire Amulet/Ancestor's Grace passives cannot be extracted via the cube.
Also there will be cube recipes again...

the best part will be not having to farm weak levels to get the GRift options to Go through another irritating time waste to finally get the key you wanted.

Really look forward to these changes.

I actually downgrade my Barbarian to those two swords so my Whirlwind is faster in T6 and I just plow through it in minutes. Not sure I'll be able to do that now!

I am one level away from making Paragon 600. The experience needed to solo to this is becoming huge and it takes 6 or 7 lvl 38 GRifts to go up a level at this point. This may take a while. Really hoping I can get home early enough today to get this accomplished (at a friend's place).

Awesome!!

The amount of experience between levels now is crazy. I'm close to passing my non-seasonal paragon level now - just need a few more.

Still no ancient RoRG or Serpent Sparker. Sad times.

Yeah, I've been gambling for a Sparker and haven't seen one yet. Someday!

Hit my non-season paragon level! Then got destroyed in a rift...I mean just shamefully over-matched. I considered leaving it and I'm not usually a rage-quitter.

Just started getting good gear on my Crusader. HOLY CRAP. I mean, Shield Bash is amazing. 1.3 million damage is awesome to see. Just fun!

Million?
I'm starting to get 1.3 Billion crits, and that's only going to go up when the next patch is released.

Sorry, meant Billion. Would be nice to have any ancients on that character though.

Man, I would need to really try to do half a million damage at P632!

The paragon levels are taking forever now eh?
Oh yes, quite slow. I have gained every level solo though, so there is that. Mostly there really isn't much of a benefit beyond 600 as the best slots are filled for the most part. Still, having fun and REALLY can't wait for the new patch and the cube. Maybe then I can get some real decent combos going. ;)

Now I just gotta make sure I had someone hit 70 before the cutoff date so I can be sure to get my useless cosmetic alterations.
Also patch 2.3 might hit between those dates...

Did you see the change to how fetishes and shooting darts work? That's the end of the Carnevil build.

Probably for the best, I never got that DoD anyways. Looking forward to cubing a whole lot of stuff and making room for abilities I REALLY want.

I'm on my phone so I'll have to read the patch notes later.

If you need help hitting 70 fast, I'll be on later :)

I'm happy about the season end date. It means I won't be away for the season start date!

It could have gotten messy for you!

I have two weeks I guess to try and make it on the leader boards. My wizard can solo a 50 and I need a 52. My WD can do 46 I think and a 48 is needed.

So close yet so far away.

I think my best is 46 with my WD, though that was before I gave up on Carnevil, and that was super tough.

I wish you luck!

I may have to enjoy my 50 and leave it at that. Good lord its tough to hit the leaderboards.
I'm finally going about upgrading my computer. I may not finish until after the season ends at this rate. I just had to have a Micro-ATX case, didn't I? Ugh, the cabling headaches. Pretty sure I have at least one char at 70, but I guess I'll have to check via my Mac later.
