So, PatrThom, err, I mean, everybody , I have an issue.
Since a few days (but I was gone so I was hoping it'd solve itself in the mean time), the left side of my screen has more visible pixelation and a serious red tint to it. The right's perfectly ok.
I assumed it was a connector or the cable, but right now it's plugged in through a HDMI cable, and it used to be connected through a DVI cable and a VGA convertor (by the way which is better?). In both set ups the problem persists. I rolled back my graphics card drivers to an earlier version (I updated them a few days ago; not right before the issue started but who knows). Still the problem persists.
Since I don't have another monitor lying around - how do I proceed? I don't feel like buying either a new monitor or a new graphics card if it isn't necessary, obviously . What else could it be?
