Some quick givens before I start. IE 11 is non-negotiable. Adobe Reader 9.1 is also non-negotiable.
I'm having a fit with printing reports at the back desk computer with Opera, our property management software. I have to do a preview before printing, but I'm getting a blank dialog box with just a blue question mark and OK, and a blank document.
If I go to Adobe Reader -> preferences -> internet and uncheck the open in browser box, the file will open, but I get the open/save/cancel security warning in a new IE11 window. The "open without permission" plug-in setting doesn't matter. I get either the blank dialog or security warning question depending on the adobe reader preferences setting.
Can I disable the question while still having the checkbox unchecked? Is there a fix for when the "open in browser" setting is on?
Oracle support's only answer was to have me reinstall Adobe Reader. I'm not calling them again because I strongly dislike being talked down to as if I were a grade schooler. I know what a web address box is, you silly person.
