[Brazelton] Glenn Fry of the Eagles passes away.

David Bowie, Glenn Frey - and Dale Griffin (drummer for Mott The Hoople).

McCartney and Ringo better make sure they're taking their vitamins...

Yeah, unfortunately. He helped raise a lot of money for school music programs in my area over the years, so his death was all over the news here.

Wait a tick. I think that it is @fade that is clueless. I don't see Mott on the soundtrack.
The soundtrack listing on IMDB bills it to Bowie, but it's Mott the Hoople. Bowie wrote All the Young Dudes, but MtH performed it originally. Apparently the version from Clueless was by World Party.

Protective circle around Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart!!

This makes me so sad though....:( The Eagles are mine and my dad's band. We always listened to them together on road trips and I can't even think of their music without thinking of my dad. The Eagles were a big staple in my childhood.

Now I want to see McKellen holding his Gandalf staff and Stewart with a phaser rifle and his flute tucked into his belt, both standing back-to-back all grim-faced on something like a pitcher's mound up to their ankles in the dead bodies of of Bowie, Fry, Rickman, Griffin, etc. with Keith Richards in the background booking for the exit (or alternately behind a glass window cackling with glee).

We also need to protect Stan Lee, at least until Avengers: Infinity War finishes production. Face front, true believers! The generalissimo must survive so we merry masses of Marveldom can bask in his beneficent brilliance for many more adventures to come! EXCELSIOR!

Considering how much stuff happens around him I'm surprised he's still alive.
